{Skin-Care Sunday} Skin-Care Tips For Your Next Flight by Miriam Steketee

Hi Everyone,

This is Miriam Steketee, and I am a Rodan + Fields skincare consultant and a close friend of The Jet Set Gal! I have a few skin tips for YOU to help protect yourself and your loved ones while flying the friendly skies!

Just because you are in the air, doesn't mean you are protected from the harsh UV rays. In fact, when flying at such high altitudes, the UVA radiation is amplified. So.... if you sit on the window seat pull your window down and don't forget your sunscreen routine! Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen on your face and body. Check!

Flying can make you dehydrated.... so make sure to stay hydrated by drinking lots water before and during the flight. If you use a misting spray - make sure to use a moisturizer immediately after - otherwise, the evaporation is only going to make your skin even dryer.

Airplanes are filled with germs! To help prevent you from getting a nasty cold from the plane, use this little trick ;) Dab Vaseline on a Q-tip and run it inside of your nose (I know, sexy right?) but in all seriousness, this can really help prevent you and your family from getting sick right when you want to be ready to rock and roll on your fabulous vacation.
